This is an original acrylic painting titled "Starlights" by Margie Lucier. This painting was a part of the solo art exhibition "Far Away Places" at Warehouse Artworks gallery in downtown Winnipeg, MB. The Winnipeg Free Press wrote an article on my art show, it was the first page in the "Arts & Life" section.

This acrylic painting is a nighttime scene. It features a grassy valley with a creek carving into the landscape. The sky above is filled with color that makes up the aurora borealis. Each star is individually hand-painted. This piece of art will draw you in and evokes a feeling of peacefulness. The painting is finished in satin varnish, this gives the painting a softer, dreamy feel. It also protects the artwork. You can use a dry duster on the canvas to clean it without having to worry about damaging the painting.

The sides of the canvas are painted black so that the colors in the artwork stand out even more.

The artwork is signed on the front right-hand side, fully signed, dated and titled on the backside. A sawtooth hanger is attached on the backside so it is ready to hang.
